Working together to meet the health needs of Pacific people in the region

Eligibility Criteria

Each participant must meet the defined PMA eligibility criteria.  The management team and mentoring staff must be knowledgeable of and understand all eligibility criteria required for mentor and mentee participation in the programme.

PMA require mentors who are qualified, good role models and have the capacity to transfer their knowledge and skills to the young mentees they will mentor.  Extenuating circumstances may be reviewed at the discretion of the Programme Director and acceptance may then be allowed with the written approval of the Executive Director and representatives of the PMA Board when all eligibility requirements are not clearly met.  These instances are expected to be rare.
